Stan Horne, a league champion with Manchester City, will today finally become the first black player to be awarded a First Division winner's medal - 53 years after helping the team win the 1967-68 title.
Ex-Blues midfielder Stan Horne will be recognised alongside former players Paul Hince, Bobby Kennedy and the late Harry Dowd.
The teammates are being recognised for their contributions to Manchester City's second-ever top-flight title win - which was a historic period for the club throughout the 1960s.
The medals will be awarded during halftime of Saturday's Premier League fixture against Burnley at the Etihad Stadium. Horne and Kennedy, along with the sons of Hince and Dowd, will receive the accolades at the medal ceremony.
