Manchester City are preparing to test Tottenham with a £120m bid for Harry Kane. The England captain will train with his Spurs team-mates on Friday if the coronavirus test he took Thursday comes back negative.
But City are ready to ramp up their efforts to sign him - even though they know their offer falls well short of Tottenham’s £160m valuation.Kane, who has been training on his own, wants to join the Premier League champions.
But Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has so far refused to budge ahead of Sunday’s clash between the teams.City will sell Bernardo Silva and Gabriel Jesus to help fund their blockbuster bid - but are not prepared to meet Levy’s valuation of the player.
