Manchester City will be looking to extend their unbeaten run in the Premier League to eight matches when they travel to the AMEX Stadium to face Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday evening.
City, who recorded an emphatic 5-1 win over Club Brugge in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday evening, are unbeaten in the league since their 1-0 opening day defeat to Tottenham Hotspur back in August.
Although the Blues faced criticism following the closure of the summer transfer window for their failure to bring in a new striker to replace Sergio Aguero, they have been coping just fine without one, with their recent performances against the likes of Chelsea and Liverpool proving exactly that.
