Manchester City fans were left raging at the non-award of a foul against James Milner at Anfield. Milner looked to have brought down Phil Foden in the first-half of the Premier League clash but referee Paul Tierney did not stop play.
VAR officials did not get involved to penalise Milner either, with replays showing contact by the Liverpool player on Foden.
There was debate over whether contact came outside the box or inside it but either way fans are asking why a free-kick at the very least was not given.
Former Manchester United player Gary Neville, commentating on the match for Sky Sports, thought there was a foul committed by former City midfielder Milner.
