manchestereveningnews.co.ukManchester City duo Ederson and Gabriel Jesus have flown straight from Brazil to Belgium in order to be ready for the Champions League fixture at Club Brugge on Tuesday.
Ederson and Jesu s both started Brazil's win over Uruguay in Manaus in the early hours of Friday morning, and were ruled out of City's Premier League win against Burnley on Saturday as there was not enough time to travel back and recover between games.
Instead, the pair have flown straight to Belgium, with City's sister club Lommel SK tweeting on Sunday that they would be guests of honour for their second division fixture against Mouscron.
City face Club Brugge on Tuesday in the Champions League, with Ederson and Jesus to make the 100-mile journey from Lommel in the north
