Manchester United may have been boosted in their efforts to sign Kalidou Koulibaly with reports that rivals Manchester City are mainly targeting younger players.Napoli defender Koulibaly is wanted by a number of clubs this summer as many look to bolster their back lines.Recent reports suggested City had agreed a deal to sign the Senegal international and were ready to splash out £63million for the centre-back.But it seems that they may have been wide of the mark with Napoli asking for closer to £71m to sell him.City’ rivals United have also been linked with a move for Koulibaly as they continue to search for a long-term partner for Harry Maguire.While City were thought to be ahead of their rivals, Etihad chief Khaldoon Al Mubarak’s comments.
