Manchester City and Tottenham are still at a standstill in negotiations over Harry Kane with £40million separating them currently.The Sky Blues are believed to be the front runners to sign England captain Kane, who is pushing for a move away from Spurs in search of silverware.But Tottenham's hefty price tag appears to be putting off potential suitors, with Kane set to stay in north London as things stand.Daily Star Sport understands City have not given up hope of signing Kane, but the two clubs remain £40m apart in their respective valuations of the England captain and talisman.Spurs supremo Daniel Levy is holding out for up to £160m for his prize asset, but City are not prepared to go beyond £120m for Kane, who turned 28 last.
