Police were called to a report of a collision at the junction of Bayley Street and Bridge Street in Stalybridge just after 11pm on Sunday (May 9).
Tragically, and despite paramedics' best efforts, Philip Ogden, 32, was pronounced dead at the scene. David Chorlton, 26, of no fixed abode, has been charged with a number of offences in connection with his death, Greater Manchester Police confirmed today.
