A man has admitted the 'unlawful killing' but denies the murder of a man who was found unconscious in a Bolton town centre bar last month.

Robert Owen Greenhalgh, of no fixed abode, appeared at Manchester Crown Court via video link from HMP Birmingham today (October 10).

He pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of Robert Smethurst, who was found unconscious in a bar on Bradshawgate, on September 2, but denied murder.
