He was taken into custody for questioning by Greater Manchester Police. The incident was recounted on the Greater Manchester Police Manchester City Centre Twitter account @GMPCityCentre in a post at 10:35pm.
It read: " #Transportunit | E-Relief are out across the public transport system working alongside partners. 1 X Male has just been arrested following this partnership approach for PWITS Class A and on his way to custody for questioning. #Travelsafe." Class A drugs include alfentanil, cocaine, diamorphine
