After moving to the UK to spice up the British version of Married at First Sight, Mel jetted off to Sydney for the programme while her husband Gareth Brisbane and daughter Maddie, six, returned to Melbourne.
Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and restrictions in place, it meant the trio were unable to see each other for around two months.
Now, border restrictions have eased, which means fully vaccinated interstate travellers are allowed to enter Victoria without the hassle of going into quarantine.
