M8 rush hour disruption as crash leads to delays on busy motorway

dailyrecord.co.ukA vehicle crash has taken place on the M8 in Glasgow, causing lanes to be closed and subsequent traffic queues. Traffic Scotland confirmed the collision took place in the early hours on Thursday.
Three lanes were closed in the immediate aftermath of the crash, before lane two was then reopened at 7.06am but traffic remained slow at Kingston Bridge.It is not yet known how many vehicles were involved in the crash and whether there have been any injuries.Police Scotland has been approached for comment.
