Manchester United will be without Raphael Varane for their trip to Vicarage Road on Saturday afternoon. Varane sustained a hamstring injury against Atalanta in the Champions League in October and he was subsequently ruled out for around a month, which means he'll miss the Reds' games against Watford, Villarreal, Chelsea and perhaps even Arsenal.
The Frenchman was sidelined for the Manchester derby in which left-back Luke Shaw suffered a concussion after a clash with Rodri.
It was the international break after that game and Shaw withdrew from the England squad. While 13 days have passed since United's 2-0 defeat to City, Shaw has not appeared in training footage this week, which means he remains a doubt for Saturday's game.
