Heartbroken Love Island viewers recalled the late Caroline Flack during the launch of the highly-anticipated 2021 series. While many had been eagerly-awaiting the return of the sun-soaked ITV2 reality show, lots of fans admitted it just “didn’t feel the same” without her.
Caroline, who died at the age of 40 in February 2020, had been the presenter and face of the dating favourite since it began.
But when the star sadly died, Laura Whitmore became her permanent replacement. Laura presented the winter edition of the programme but this year is her first time in Spain for the summer show.
