Love Island beauty Zara McDermott's brother Brad is said to be in talks with ITV bosses about appearing in the 2022 series as the hunt is on for new talent.

Zara appeared on the show in 2018 and began dating Adam Collard, stealing him away from Welsh beauty Rosie Williams. The pair moved in together after the show, but their romance soon came to an end and she has since found love with Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson. With Brad making more appearances on Zara's Instagram page, it seems he is keen to follow in his big sister's footsteps and appear on the show.A source told The Sun: "Brad is a young, good looking guy, and he has seen how appearing on Love Island has completely transformed Zara’s life."Though she didn’t find long-term love, it has served as a great platform for her."She also had a great time there, and he thinks it would be a great laugh."Zara has since gone on to film a TV presenting job on BBC series Live in the Flesh after filming a BBC documentary about her experiences with revenge porn. This comes after reports that Love Island bosses want to get the ex-girlfriend of Aston Villa right-back Matty Cash.Beautician Sophie Draper has been approached to appear on the show, according to The Sun, after dating Matty for four years.A source said: "Love Island bosses think she could be a good fit for the show, it's early days still but she definitely has potential."Matty will be pretty shocked to see her looking for love on TV, but he publicly moved on pretty quickly."Love Island is set to return to ITV2 on June 6 for a lengthier series of 10 weeks instead of eight.
