Louise Thompson battles 'mixed emotions' on return to hospital after traumatic labour

Louise Thompson has revealed that she has mixed emotions about returning to hospital after the traumatic birth of her son.The former Made In Chelsea star shared a story on Instagram, checking herself in to Chelsea and Westminster hospital.She captioned the picture: "Back here this morning.

Mixed emotions."It comes after the reality star faced a traumatic birth that led to her recuperating in ICU for over a month and experiencing ongoing post traumatic stress disorder afterwards.She almost died after giving birth to her son, Leo-Hunter, in November 2021.Leo was taken the NICU, where he made a quick recovery.On discussing her post traumatic stress disorder symptoms, she said: "My panic episodes can last hours or days and are totally unpredictable."When I’m having one I can’t function, I can’t look after myself, let alone anyone else around me.

I can’t even spell my name. I can’t see, I can’t hear, I can’t look anyone in the eye."Louise has yet to disclose what happened during her birth, but did confirm she experienced "serious complications" that left her with uterus, colon and mental health issues.She already suffered from Ulcerative Colitis (UC), before giving birth to Leo.For more of the latest showbiz news from the Daily Star, make sure you sign up for one of our newsletters here.On a recent trip to Greece, the reality star experienced a UC flare up.She confirmed the situation was "scary" and that she was bleeding heavily.She said: "As you can imagine I find excessive bleeding pretty triggering [following the traumatic birth of baby Leo]."She did confirm that since taking medication for her mental health, her UC symptoms have worsened.However, the star hasn't provided any further information as to why she's currently.
