Lorraine Kelly wins battle to expand her £2m home following dispute with neighbours

Lorraine Kelly has reportedly won a battle to extend her home, following a previous dispute with her neighbours.The ITV presenter, 62, resides in a three-bedroom cottage situated in Buckinghamshire, with riverside views of the Thames, priced at a cool £2million.She lives there with her husband, Steve Smith, and their dogs Angus and Ruby.READ MORE: Lorraine Kelly and Nicki Chapman lead tributes to Pop Idol's Darius after tragic death The Sun reported that Lorraine’s historic home features a huge living space with vaulted ceilings, a 24ft conservatory and a guesthouse, alongside a whopping 100ft-wide garden.

However, the couple had plans to add an 18ft-wide extension to the side of the house, with a conservation roof light and timber double glazed doors, which will project a further 15ft onto their garden.They also planned to increase the size of their master bedroom and add a dressing room and en-suite.Lorraine's planning agent told The Sun: "The bedroom would have a pair of matching windows to the north and a set of French doors with side lights to the west, leading to a small deck and the views over the river."While Lorraine’s plans have been approved, her previous applications weren’t met with enthusiasm from her surrounding neighbours.She previously applied to have a pine tree felled, after it caused bird poo and needles to be left over the couple’s cars.For more of the latest showbiz and TV news from the Daily Star, make sure you sign up to one of our newsletters here.This bid was rejected after her neighbours reportedly disapproved.Lorraine's fans will recognise her home from Gogglebox, where she and her daughter Rosie were filmed for their segments on the show.Lorraine on Lockdown was also shot at the property.
