He took charge of his family's real-estate business in 1971, renamed it The Trump Organization, and expanded its operations from Queens and Brooklyn into Manhattan.
The company built or renovated skyscrapers, hotels, casinos, and golf courses. Trump later started various side ventures, mostly by licensing his name. He owned the Miss Universe and Miss USA beauty pageants from 1996 to 2015, and produced and hosted The Apprentice, a reality television show, from 2003 to 2015. Forbes estimates his net worth to be $3.1 billion.

Speaking about the news that judges on the set of Masked Singer US walked off the stage in protest after a famous face was unmasked, Lorraine took a swipe at the man who once had an awkward encounter with hair dye.Recently the news broke that in a yet-to-be-aired episode of the American version of Masked Singer, 77-year-old politician Rudy Giuliani was unmasked and sparked fury among the judging panel.Judges Ken Jeong and Robin Thicke reportedly stormed off the stage "quickly" and in "protest" after they saw Rudy take off his mask.While US showbiz correspondent Ross King was explaining the situation to Lorraine, the Scottish sweetheart took a subtle swipe at the American public figure."I'm not sure a man who's hair dye runs down his face is a good idea to put a mask on, as that could happen again," she said while mimicking hair dye running down her face with her hands."But there we are," she concluded.Lorraine's comment left Ross King chuckling in the background.The 77-year-old is best known for serving as mayor of New York City from 1994 to 2001 and was heralded for his response during the 9/11 attacks.But the well-known public figure soon became a controversial figure when he supported Donald Trump's election fraud claims before Joe Biden took the post.And in April 2021, Rudy's apartment was raided by the FBI amid a probe into reported dealings with Ukraine.
