Loose Women star Linda Robson broke down in tears as she joined her colleagues on the latest instalment of the show. The comical actress was left crying after her co-stars helped her celebrate her birthday on Monday (March 14) for the only airing of the popular ITV daytime offering this week.Joined in the studio by host Ruth Langsford and fellow panellists Nadia Sawalha and Carol McGiffin Linda, 64, was left overwhelmed by the sweet gestures she was gifted to mark her special day.Receiving flowers from her co-stars, Linda welled up as a pre-recorded message was played out to wish her many happy returns from her grandchildren.Visibly emotional, Linda explained she was overcome because it would be a while before she would see her granddaughter, Lila, again. She explained: "She's just gone on a school journey today so I won't see her for a week."It's not the first time the Birds Of A Feather star has lost her composure while appearing on the live programme.Last year she began sobbing when she spoke to the rest of the panel about the awful moment she realised she had forgotten to collect her grandchildren from school. She said: "In my head, I was picking them up at 3:45.
But at 3:15 I was indoors."I had just got out the bath, I was getting dressed because I was going to a premiere last night and I got a phone call from Lauren going 'Why aren't you at the school?
You were supposed to be picking them up at 3:15!'"Linda continued: "I went into panic mode and I couldn't get anyone to give me a lift so I had to run to the school, and I'm not the fittest woman in the world."Loose Women will be off air for the rest of the week as ITV bosses clear the schedule to make way for extensive coverage of Cheltenham horse racing festival over.
