The 58-year-old journalist was discussing the hit Netflix documentary, Crime Scene: The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel, with the rest of the panel when she made the shocking admission.
Due to her grown up daughters no longer living at home, Jane said they created a WhatsApp group that they can speak on whilst watching certain television shows at the same time.
It seems Jane and her kids were watching the four-part series, when her daughter Ellie realised she had stayed at the Cecil Hotel in 2014. "She sent a message saying, 'I think I stayed there'," Jane told the rest of the panel, which consisted of Charlene
