Lo Mac wrote: “Cue the Nessie sightings from the other side of the loch.”Ryan Mackenzie added: “Closest looking animal to Nessie.”The mischievous bunch, from Loch Ness Alpacas in Dores, Inverness, had a nosey round the Balachladaich Bed and Breakfast, situated next to their pen on the banks of Loch Ness.One of the sneakier alpacas was seen finally being caught yesterday as it enjoyed a cool-down in the loch.It looked a dead ringer for the 1934 “surgeon’s photo”, which was found to be a fake 60 years later.This comes after Boffins posited a new bombshell Nessie theory, suggesting that the beast may have actually been a freshwater dinosaur.
