Earlier this week, the teenager netted a hat-trick for Scotland Under-17s to help them qualify for the European Championships.
It is reported Liverpool will pay a small compensation fee of £600k to the Scottish Premiership leaders. The teenager was yet to sign a deal at Celtic Park after blitzing through their academy set-up and Jurgen Klopp moved swiftly to secure his services.
According to The Athletic, the German manager proved a huge influence in Doak's decision. The Scottish youth international has been impressed by the rapid development of the likes of Trent Alexander-Arnold and Curtis Jones.
