Liverpool’s hopes of signing Bayern Munich winger Kinglsey Coman may be boosted by the player’s father’s wishes to see him move to England.
Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg says the Reds are interested in signing the French player and are in contact with his representatives, but his current employers are keen to keep hold of him.The report also says that incoming manager Julian Nagelsmann is eager to have him in the squad next season.However, Coman’s father Christian wants his son to make a move to the Premier League.Coman is still only 25 and has a contract at the club until 2023, so any move for him will come at a big price.Gazzetta dello Sport reported that Bayern would be looking for €50m (£43m) for Coman’s services this.
