Manchester United have a rare ally in Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp after he complained about his side’s early fixture against Watford on Saturday.
Liverpool were forced to play the game without Fabinho and Alisson after Brazil played Uruguay in the early hours of Friday.
United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer bemoaned the fixture schedule at the start of October after United played a Champions League tie against Villarreal on a Wednesday night before being made to play Everton in the Saturday early kick-off on BT Sport.
At the time, Solskjaer said: "It's a very, very quick turnaround, a different turnaround to last year when we played Everton away and played Wednesday night and Saturday morning.
