Liverpool have reportedly cancelled a staff meeting at short-notice as criticism grows over their decision to sign up for the new European Super League.
The Reds became the first of the rebel 12 clubs in action on Monday night when they took on Leeds United at Elland Road, with their arrival at the ground met with jeers as both Leeds and Liverpool fans protested against the new league.
Leeds warmed up in t-shirts bearing the slogans 'Football is for the fans' and 'Earn it' in reference to Champions League qualification, with Jurgen Klopp angered by the home club putting one of the t-shirts in the Liverpool dressing room.
