With the Live+7 numbers in for the week of March 16, the first week in which the coronavirus pandemic really took hold across the country, the ratings increase due to so many people self-isolating appears to be leveling off a little bit.
In terms of the key 18-49 demographic, there weren’t that many big gains as opposed to the Live+7 averages so far this season. “Grey’s Anatomy” posted a 2.5 rating, topping its 2.3 average, and “The Voice” delivered a 2.2, quite a bit higher than its 1.8 average to date.
However, in terms of total viewership, there were a decent handful of shows which continued to grow after seven days of delayed viewing to deliver big increases on their average Live+7 audiences.
