Little Mix's Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirwall have opened up on how they once wanted to have nose jobs after believing they needed to "look as white as possible" to "fit in" to the pop world.
Pregnant Leigh-Anne, 29, who announced she's expecting her first child with fiancé Andre Gray last week, and her bandmate made the heartbreaking confession on the new BBC documentary Leigh-Anne: Race, Pop and Power.
During the powerful film, which airs tonight, viewers will see Leigh-Anne candidly reveal how she feels her race has defined her image in the group and her popularity with fans.
She also meets people at last summer’s Black Lives Matter marches and explores pivotal issues, such as unconscious bias and colourism.
