Brit Awards tonight. Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jade Thirlwall and Perrie Edwards left viewers emotional as they picked up the British Group Award, the first female band ever to do so.
It comes after Leigh-Anne and Perrie announced their respective pregnancies this week. Upon receiving the award, Perrie revealed the girls had written down a speech. "Two of us have baby brains so we had to write it down," she explained to the crowd.
Before adding: "Oh my goodness, guys, we have just made history, I feel very emotional. " The girls then thanked their fans and former bandmate Jesy Nelson, who announced she was leaving the group in December 2020.
