Tragically, little Reuben Whittle - 'who lived for his family, his friends and his football' - was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia in March 2015.
Despite going into remission, he re-lapsed after a bone marrow transplant in March 2019. His twin brother Rocco bravely donated his own cells so Reuben could have a new therapy called CAR-T, but sadly, Reuben died before he was able to have the treatment.
