evoke.ieLine of Duty star Martin Compston has responded to fans after the hit series ended. It was one of the most hyped finales in TV history and yet, for many, it fell flat.
Martin, who played DI Steve Arnott for the entirety of the six series run, spoke of his ‘relief’ after the show aired. In a post on this Twitter account, the Scottish actor reiterated his gratitude to the show’s loyal fanbase.
As well as this, he addressed the elephant in the room—that ending. He said: ‘Fully understand it wasn’t the “urgent exit” type ending some anticipated but we appreciate you sticking with us.’
