Line of Duty star Martin Compston played two professional football games before becoming an actor but lost both 4-0.Compston is set to start for the Rest of the World in Soccer Aid at the London Stadium on Sunday night, making his fifth appearance in the charity football match.

He will start in the centre of midfield alongside TikTok star Noah Beck and fellow actor Mark Strong for the side managed by Arsene Wenger.Prior to beginning his acting career, Compston spent time in the academies of both Aberdeen and Greenock Morton, playing twice for the latter after signing a professional deal in 2001 at the age of 17.He was a member of the squad for the 2001/02 season, which ended with Greenock Morton being relegated from the third tier of Scottish football after finishing bottom of the table.Compston made two substitute appearances during the campaign against Alloa Athletic and Queen of the South, but both matches ended in 4-0 defeats.Following a brief spell back in the club's junior side, Compston quit football to take up a career in acting with his first role in Ken Loach's Sweet Sixteen in 2002.Who will win this year's Soccer Aid match?
