ITV kicked off their brand new drama Trigger Point on Sunday night, but viewers couldn't help but compare the show to BBC's Line Of Duty after hearing the excessive use of the word "mate".The tense programme which stars Adrian Lester and Line Of Duty actress Vicky McClure gave viewers insight into a bomb disposal team known as EXPO who face death every day while keeping the general public safe.But although there was a lot going on in the show, viewers couldn't help but compare it to the popular BBC programme.Jumping on Twitter, ITV viewers shared their thoughts on the show.One spectator wrote: "The over use of the word mate in #triggerpoint seems like a rip off of #lineofduty."Another said: "Thought the mate thing was @Vicky_McClure and @martin_compston thing."A third wrote: "HE SAID MATE!! VICKY McClure has revealed a stunning new look as a bomb disposal expert in the upcoming drama Trigger Point. Ditching her bra and foundation for the role, Vicky said she wanted to make a statement that “you don’t really need makeup” while playing her new character.
