'Line of Duty' leads the National Television Awards nominations with four nods. The BBC police procedural show is up for the Returning Drama accolade, alongside 'Call the Midwife', 'The Crown', and 'Unforgotten', and the programme's three main stars will face off in the Drama Performance category.
Adrian Dunbar (Ted Hastings), Martin Compston (Steve Arnott), and Vicky McClure (Kate Fleming) are used to working together as part of an anti-corruption unit in the drama series.
But they will do battle against one another, as well as 'Des' star David Tennant - who portrayed serial killer Dennis Nilsen in the ITV miniseries - and Olly Alexander, for his lead role as Ritchie Tozer in 'It’s A Sin'.
