The seeds of a scandal that nearly brought down a president were planted almost 25 years ago — when 23-year-old Monica Lewinsky confided in her colleague Linda Tripp that she had been having sexual relations with Bill Clinton.
Tripp died in April of pancreatic cancer, but her memoir, “A Basket of Deplorables: What I Saw Inside the Clinton White House” has been published posthumously by Post Hill Press.
