Lidl shoppers fuming over new blanket system across all supermarkets

Last year the retailer introduced a cash prize game on its app, which gave shoppers the chance to save money on their shopping.

The supermarket chain has now quietly removed the cash prize game – replacing it with a new ‘spin the wheel’ offer instead. According to the Mirror, this hasn't gone down too well with shoppers, who are now complaining that they are no longer receiving any money off incentives.

Under the terms of the new loyalty club, customers were offered £5 off their first shop during the introductory period last year.
