Lewis Hamilton left in unbearable back pain and can barely get out of car in Baku

Lewis Hamilton was seen in unbearable back pain as he hobbled out of his Mercedes after the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.Mercedes chief Toto Wolff even apologised to the seven-time Formula One world champion over the team radio for the back problems after the race.

Porpoising had caused Hamilton's car to bounce up and down whilst on the straights in Baku, causing him to agonisingly shout “Aaaargh my back is killing me!”Although he was able to claim a fourth place finish after starting the race seventh, the race had taken a toll on Hamilton and he was seen struggling to get out of car afterwards.Footage shows the 37-year-old straining as he hauls himself out of his car, holding his back as he stands up out of his seat before having to stop and hold his back again before climbing out of the vehicle.

He had also complained his seat went cold during the race.Wolff had been heard apologising to Hamilton over the team radio after he crossed the line at the end of the race, stating: “This is a bit of a *** box to drive.

And sorry for the back problems.”A thankful Hamilton replied: “Well done guys. And well done on the strategy. Thank you on continuing to push.” He was able to secure his best finish since the season opener in Bahrain after overtaking Pierre Gasly during the closing laps of the race.Where will Lewis Hamilton finish in the 2022 Drivers' Championship?
