Lewis Capaldi is unapologetically himself during sell-out Wembley Arena show that will have you crying, laughing and swaying all in one go

With Lewis Capaldi it’s pretty much what you see is what you get, and that doesn’t change even when he’s performing to a sold-out Wembley Arena.

The last time he was in London, Lewis performed at Brixton Academy to a crowd of around 5000, he lost his voice and had to apologise on stage and mentioning it during last night’s Wembley show, you can tell he’s still pretty miffed about it.

After a stellar year, that’s seen him pick up two Brit Awards, nominated for a Grammy and his album, Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent, going to number one in both the UK and the US, he’s back in London and this time playing two sell-out Wembley Arena shows to a crowd of 12,000, before taking on The O2, which sits a casual 20,000, in October.
