The Foxes were leading the game 3-1 when things turned ugly in the stands at the King Power.Some Legia fans attempted make their way across the tarpaulin used to separate home and away supporters.This led to violent clashes with the police, with punches being thrown.
It has been claimed up to 100 Legia supporters were involved in the disgraceful violence. Earlier in the evening, the Polish visitors had lit up the King Power with red flares, causing smoke to bellow around the arena.
