Lauren Goodger has bravely opened up about the heartbreak she and boyfriend Charles Drury are feeling following the loss of their baby daughter Lorena.
Lauren, 35, shared the devastating news that her newborn daughter, her second child with Charles, sadly died on Friday 8 July.The couple are parents to daughter Larose, who turned one earlier this week.
Now, former TOWIE star Lauren has told how she was rushed to hospital and taken to a delivery suite to give birth, and explained how the room started to fill with doctors. “They said she had a low heart rate and took her to the side.Ten doctors started working on her.They were doing chest compressions and giving her adrenaline,” she told The Sun. “Charlie was in pieces, he was screaming: ‘Please save my baby.’” Lauren, who has told how Lorena has two knots in her cord, added that she was “in shock” and that she thought her little girl “would be alright”.
Sadly, Lorena passed away just minutes after Lauren gave birth. Lauren first shared the news earlier this month. Alongside a picture of Lorena's tiny hand in hers, she wrote: "She was the most beautiful healthy baby I’ve ever seen just like her sister Larose. "Words can’t describe as a mother losing your baby that I carried for all these months perfectly and gave birth too for my angel to be taken from me.
