Latest 'Transformers' Lands 2022 Release Date

Will Smith has been having a pretty good 2022. The superstar already landed a Best Actor Oscar nomination for his performance in the sports drama “King Richard” and looks to return to a role that audiences might not have seen coming.

With production shut down on all live-action movie and TV projects, Paramount and Hasbro are moving forward with an animated Transformers prequel.Toy Story 4 director Josh Cooley has signed on to direct an animated Transfomers origin story that will take place on Cybertron, the Transformers' home planet, according to a new report from Deadlineon Wednesday.The project will focus on the Autobot leader Optimus Prime and the Decepticon leader Megatron.
