Ole Gunnar Solskjær KSO (Norwegian pronunciation: (About this soundlisten); born 26 February 1973) is a Norwegian professional football manager and former player. He is currently the manager of English club Manchester United. As a player, he played as a forward and spent most of his career with Manchester United. Solskjær also supervises a training academy for young footballers in his home town of Kristiansund, and is a patron of the Manchester United Supporters' Trust.

The last of six Manchester United signings slammed by Rio Ferdinand is set to leave Old Trafford, showing the extent of the overhaul Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has undertaken.

Back in January 2020, following a United defeat by Burnley, Ferdinand hit out at the Red Devils' demise, laying the blame on the club's poor recruitment.

He named and shamed six players as examples of bad business: Marouane Fellaini, Marcos Rojo, Matteo Darmian, Memphis Depay, Radamel Falcao and Alexis Sanchez.
