Lady Gaga's stolen dogs 'safe and unharmed' after being dropped off at police station

Lady Gaga's stolen French bulldogs have been dropped off "safe and unharmed" at a police station. The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) confirmed the pets' safe return in a statement on Friday evening local time.

The dogs were returned by a woman not thought to be associated with the theft. A representative for Lady Gaga attended the police station to confirm the dogs are hers.

The pop star had offered a $500,000 dollar reward for their return after her dog walker Ryan Fischer, was shot in Hollywood in Wednesday.

Fischer is expected to make a full recovery. Captain Jonathan Tippet, commanding officer of the LAPD's Robbery-Homicide Division, told the PA news agency: "I can confirm that the dogs have been located and are safe." The dogs
