MTV Europe Music Awards have announced this year’s contenders for the top prizes, with Lady Gaga out front with seven nominations.The 34-year-old, who made a pop comeback with her sixth studio album Chromatica earlier this year, was followed by K-Pop superstars BTS and Justin Bieber who each received five nods.It’s set to be a toughly-fought contest, with Gaga going up against Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B for best U.S.
act, while Beliebers will face off against the BTS Army for the Biggest Fans trophy.Lady Gaga has already picked up five gongs for her most recent musical efforts, with the star taking home a number of awards including Best Artist in the MTV VMAs, which took place in August this year.
