Jackie Baillie has made an emotional appeal to the Scottish Government to tell health board bosses in Glasgow they no longer have confidence in them.
Scottish Labour's health spokeswoman fought back tears as she told MSPs that families were owed answers over the deaths of loved ones at the scandal-hit Queen Elizabeth University Hospita l (QEUH).
Her party tabled a motion urging the senior leadership of NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde to be sacked following years of serious complaints regarding the flagship health campus in Govan.
But public health minister Maree Todd insisted that several reviews and inquiries into the hospital were already under way and reccomendations would be implemented as soon as possible.
