TUI has cancelled all their flights to La Palma up to, and including, November 3 due to the ongoing volcanic eruption. Announcing the cancellation shortly before October half term, the airline said that all affected customers would be contacted directly about what will happen with their booking.

Flights are still operating to the other Canary Islands, which will come as a relief for holidaymakers who are taking advantage of relaxed travel restrictions this half term.

The operator informed customers that they would be monitoring the situation closely, as officials have said the eruption shows no signs of ending.
