The summer signing suffered the setback playing for Japan against China in the international break, with manager Ange Postecoglou giving a timeframe of "three or four weeks" for his return.
Kyogo had made a flying start to life in Scotland, hitting three goals in four Premiership appearances. He carried that form into the Europa League too with three in four and supporters were understandably gutted to see him ruled out.
