The actress, 43, confirmed her new role in her OK! Magazine column, saying she will be presenting the BBC chat show this Friday.
Kym, who shot to fame after being in popular band Hear'Say, will be taking Matt's place to present the episode alongside Alex Jones, swapping soap acting for presenting.
She said, as she revealed her new job in her publication: "I've always enjoyed doing live TV – let's hope I don't make a mistake." The former Michelle Connor actress also told fans she had another announcement, this one being about her brand new role in the Westend.
