Elaine Low Senior TV WriterKyle Chandler is joining the cast of Showtime’s anthology series “Super Pumped,” the television adaptation of Mike Isaac’s book, “Super Pumped: The Battle for Uber.”The “Friday Night Lights” and “Bloodline” actor will star as Bill Gurley, described as “the plainspoken, brilliant Texan venture capitalist who bets his sterling reputation on Uber’s success – and then has to live with the consequences.”The news comes days after Showtime announced that Joseph Gordon-Levitt would star as Uber CEO and co-founder Travis Kalanick, who was ousted from the Silicon Valley unicorn in a boardroom coup. “Billions” creators Brian Koppelman and David Levien, as well as “Soundtrack’s” Beth Schacter, will serve as executive.
