Officers will be given extra powers across the weekend to keep the centre of Horwich free from anti-social behaviour, allowing them to direct potential troublemakers away from the area.
The order, which will run from 8pm on Friday, April 30, until 8pm on Sunday, May 2, was sparked by worried about groups of youths gathering across the town, often becoming violent.
