Knife-wielding monkey terrorises town after claiming shopping centre as his territory

It's already damaged roofs and this week it showed up with this knife," he said.But it appears that despite being heavily armed and looking menacing, the monkey is not looking to attack people.“It lets people touch it, it even goes to their houses and many have already taken it by the hand,” said Alessandro, who added that residents are divided over the primate's presence.He said: "Those who are suffering from the mess are worried, as they can't leave their doors or windows open."Others are finding it funny.
